I’ve been delighted with Dr Larsens surgery on my hand/arm. He has done an excellent job.
Given zero direction on how to care for her wounds at home. Nobody from your surgical team came to the hospital to do rounds the next day. The nursing staff was completely in the dark about what the home care protocol looked like. They had to remove the packing from her hand without any instruction on what that was going to look like. It took nurses an hour to get the packing out without any pain medication or numbing on an 11 year old screaming. No follow up. Very unorganized and no communication. The staff has a lot to do on if you like the doctor or not. Came for my appointment and they did not have my records from neurologist or EMG and neurologist sent it. Had to leave my appointment with nothing done. You guys said you would call when you got the EMG and never did. Was told someone would call me about my surgery and answer any questions I might have and that didn’t happen from your office. Dr Larsen is a great Dr...he took his time and did a outstanding job...the entire right side of my body was contracted due to getting tbi along with having hitchhikers thumb but Dr Larsen was able to do a amazing job...would highly recommend Dr Larsen
The entire right side of my body was contracted due to me getting T.B.I. but Dr Larsen did a exceptional job straightening out my fingers...not only that but I also had hitchhikers thumb and Dr Larsen was able to fix it...Dr Larsen is very good at what he does
Staff is not knowledgeable about authorization processes for insurance delaying my care. Took over a month to get that corrected. I ended my care with Dr. Larsen in January and canceled all future appointments yet remained on the schedule for February.
Our first experience with Dr. Larsen was when he scheduled a hand surgery for me at Abrazo West without yelling us anything about it. He then showed up 6 hours late for that leaving me in preop the whole time. Then yesterday he was 1 hour late to a video appointment, after canceling it one other time. The doctor then thought the appointment was for a hand follow-up when it was actually to go over nerve test results that he had not yet reviewed or knew anything about. I waited over two years to air the decision to see a highly recommended hand surgeon after breaking my wrist to talk about the possibility of getting surgery to fix my wrist. I didn’t even get to speak to the surgeon. Super disappointed! I wouldn’t have went had I known this.
Great service and Dr. Larsen is an awesome doctor!
