I had been experiencing bilateral shoulder pain for about 8 months post spinal surgery and Nicholas Briggs, a PA in the Greater Rochester Orthopedics group, has been treating me since 4/25. I have found Nick to be a very caring and knowledgeable practitioner. He started by getting X-rays of my shoulders then doing a cortisone injection on the right one where I had the most pain. I brought my 3-year-old son in after he needed a cast, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about GRO Ortho Rochester. The entire staff was incredible from start to finish — patient, warm, and so attentive with a little guy who was nervous and wiggly. They explained everything in a way he could understand, helped him feel safe, and truly treated him like their own. The entire experience was exceptional. From the ease of scheduling to the outstanding service I received from the doctor the nurse all the caretaker’s -All outstanding! I highly recommend Greater Rochester Orthopaedics for any joint issues. You are not just a number there. They really care about their patients and work hard to provide only the very best in service-and if you need a cortisone shot ask for Dr. Nick. He will treat you like you are his family. Luckily I called the day I was injured, GRO had evening appointments. I had to wait 2 hours but was seen at 5:45 pm the same day. Short wait time to get X-rays and then to see PA, Tim. Tim gave me an explanation with X-rays displayed of what was going on in my shoulder, then discussed options. I loved how I was treated at GRO! I was seen the same day I called and when I got to the office I didn’t wait more than 2 minutes. The PA was kind and professional and listened to my concerns. (Nick Briggs). I left with a solid treatment plan and the reassurance that I need only call if we needed to address anything and I would be seen again. Very happy.
